My Parastory,

I knew about Paramore for a while and was hooked on That’s what You Get when it came out. It wasn’t until late in 2009 when I was in grade 11 that I become a member of the Parafamily. I had a very hard year, I lost a best friend and my Grandfather died. I started getting depressed and then I listened to Brand New Eyes for the first time. It changed my life. The lyrics described where I was in life perfectly and helped me get rid of all my negative emotions. Soon after that I went out and bought all of their CD’s. I would come home from school and immediately turn on Paramore. They lifted my spirits and made me feel like I was ok and everything would be fine. I can’t believe that I have been a part of this wonderful family for over a year, but all I know is they have changed my life. Thank-you fellow Parawhores and thank-you PARAMORE. IT NEVER ENDS

So I found Paramore in maybe 2007 but forgot that I kept finding them but I become really really stuck with them in late 2009 and I’ve loved them more and more ever since. This band has changed my life. Hayley makes me feel better about being different. Because well I’m a 14 year old African American who loves Rock music,who isn’t a fan of Rap or even R&B that much.Who loves dressing in Skelton tights and being out there. And I look up to mostly white people so yeah Im considered a weirdo and my parents don’t like this ‘Obssession’ I have and it annoys me when they ask my why don’t I look up to anyone who’s black and it makes me strongly hate myself for being this why and then I stop caring but Paramore’s music relate to my life in so many ways. I went though a really rough in Middle school were I basically lost myself for a long time and I got depressed I cut myself and started having many suicidal thoughts. I felt lots of anxiety I couldn’t explain my feelings and I made myself feel worse. But paramour helped me though this really shitty time in my life even now when I’m made fun of BECAUSE of this amazing band that pracittly saved my life. I would have been on the verge of no return if not for them and a friend who got my out before it was to late.  So now I get  made fun of mostly everyday about how much paramore sucks or there a shitty band I don’t really have anyone in schoo (other then like maybe 2 people) who understand how I feel and it sucks so much. And I want to see paramore live so i can go on stage and be happy and carefree and forget all my problems,my worries my constant battles with trying to stay happy and be 100% me. So to Paramore thank you for helping me though all the good and bad :3

I cried for half an hour after it. They still save my life every day. They and the ParaFamily are and were the family I needed when my own was crumbling right in front of me. Oh, wow. Our stories are so similar! You’ve just said everything I feel. The first song I heard was Emergency too and I cried a lot after it. It’s just.. exactly what you said. They keep me sane, they keep me alive and they’re always there when I need them. It’s just amazing how they kept me from doing something permanent to a temporary problem. Thanks for sharing this <3

I was on holidays, on itunes, so the internet was crap, but I seriously sat there for ages listening to Ignorance 2 seconds at a time, and I still loved it, but I forgot about them for ages. Then I heard them mentioned on tv, and they were in my dream. I woke up at 2am, turned on my ipod to find I actually had Misery Buisness there, and lay listening for hours. I was and am completely in love with them."

So when the song went off, the next day I realized that I liked it. A lot. Soon I kept hearing about them from other people talking about Crushcrushcrush. I was just sitting there like "What?! I've gotta hear this." So I heard it and I fell in LOVE! After that, I was just continously searching for their other tracks and BAM! That was it. Loved them ever since. Parawhore4Ever"

When Riot! came out, we both went out to buy it and up until BNE came out, it was my favorite album. I still haven't gone to see them live yet, but I hope to next time their in my city :)"
